In addition to classic active/active and active/passive configurations, LifeKeeper is able to cater for more complex tasks. The state-of-the-art design and additional components such as data replication enables more scenarios such as disk-to-disk backup. Furthermore, LifeKeeper is able to work in virtual environments, for example with VMware ESX Server.
